Plantable Maison Patio Birdhouse

The Maison Plantable Birdhouse

Somewhere, a very small bird has been looking for a country house with a garden.

We may have found it.

The Maison is part birdhouse, part hanging garden—a wonderfully whimsical little home woven from natural-looking materials and designed to live outdoors. Plant the top with something trailing and pretty, tuck it into the branches of an old tree, and give it a season or two. Before long, it will look less like something you hung there and more like something that has always belonged.

We can't promise who will move in.

But the accommodations are charming.

The Details

• Crafted by SuperMoss
• Made using the same durable construction as SuperMoss MossWeave baskets
• Designed specifically for outdoor and garden use
• Maintains its shape through exposure to the elements
• Designed to resist deterioration for multiple years
• Plantable top for creating your own miniature hanging garden
• Includes an elegant chain for hanging from a tree branch or garden hook

For planting, we love the idea of something small and trailing spilling gently over the roof. As the planting fills in and the birdhouse begins to weather naturally, the Maison only gets better.
